Most people already know The Walkmen and just how brilliant they are. If you're one of the few people who have somehow managed to go about your life without hearing them, then I suggest the phenomenal 'The Rat' as a good starting point. Hamilton Leithauser and co have been releasing albums for a decade now and Heaven isn't a great departure from anything else they've done in that time. It is, however, another solid and beautiful album. They'll never be one of the most talked about or hyped bands but going by this and their six previous efforts, you can guarantee that they'll never disappoint.
